Design Director, Zero Bureau
Marko Stanojevic is a multi-specialist creative focusing on industrial design, branding design and visual communication who has been working in creative industries for over two decades. In parallel, he teaches design, holding workshops, lectures and presentations across Europe and Asia. He is also called upon to judge design contests.
Working on complex projects spread over diverse creative domains has resulted in a spillover of skills, knowledge and work methodologies from one creative discipline to another. Working at the intersection of different ideas has allowed him to build a flexible, holistic approach to visual systems design.
He uses visual storytelling or narrative design as a key design tool to articulate and translate semiotic values across different platforms and media. He employs cutting-edge technologies to explore new opportunities, pioneering new ways of addressing the deeper emotional needs of advanced users and consumers, marrying them to softer, more profound values in a seamless, organic fashion. He also explores professional branding – including micro-branding and self-branding – in contemporary and future societies, as well as in education and through research and publications.
He has served as design director of Hong-Kong-based Zero Bureau since 2019. In this role, he has led award-winning projects that have earned over 60 international design accolades
