For over a decade, Gary Gautier Bernat has infused Casa Batlló with his inventive spirit, leading a pioneering museum project, championing the inclusion of neurodivergent professionals, and transforming the institution’s management model.
Under his leadership, first as director of innovation and later as general director, Casa Batlló has consistently broken records in visitor numbers and satisfaction ratings while earning prestigious international awards. These achievements are rooted in the museum’s dynamic organizational culture, built on individual responsibility, personal fulfillment and an evolving sense of purpose.
He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Barcelona, studied business management at the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and attended Singularity University in the US.
He began his career in strategic consulting at Deloitte Spain before launching an educational initiative incubated in Silicon Valley with support from Google and NASA to tackle energy scarcity in developing countries.
