Executive Director, Thaddaeus Ropac Milan
Elena Bonanno di Linguaglossa will lead the new Thaddaeus Ropac gallery in Milan when it opens its doors in the fall of 2025.
Having spent three decades working in the commercial gallery sector, most recently at Lévy Gorvy Dayan, Ms. Bonanno di Linguaglossa has been instrumental in curating major exhibitions at Arter in Istanbul, the Boboli and Bardini Gardens in Florence, Galleria Borghese in Rome, MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna and the Villa e Collezione Panza in Varese.
With a law degree from Luiss Guido Carli university in Rome, she brings considerable astuteness to the intricacies of working with collectors and institutions. As a guest professor at the European Institute of Design in Rome, she has taught courses on the art market and contemporary art.
Over the past two decades, she has lived between Italy, Austria and Britain. Previously, she served in leadership roles at Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Albion Gallery, Haunch of Venison, and Blain|Southern.
