Bouthayna M. Baltaji is director of museography and heritage museums development at Qatar Museums, where she leads the development of site-specific activation models that transform heritage sites into sustainable cultural, social and economic ecosystems. Her work positions heritage as infrastructure for sustainable development, cultural diplomacy, and creative economies. 

Working collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams, community partners and institutional stakeholders, she integrates academic research, community knowledge and contemporary storytelling to activate heritage across archaeology, architecture, environment and living traditions. 

She holds an M.A. in museum and gallery practice from University College London and a B.A. in social research and visual arts from New York University Abu Dhabi.
