The Democracy & Culture Foundation organizes the Athens Democracy Forum, Art for Tomorrow Talks and smaller curated events throughout the year.
The foundation identifies new ways to improve democratic processes and the role of culture in allowing them to flourish. We engage in constructive conversation with experts and citizens to form policy-oriented solutions and drive them forward to ensure lasting change.
Our aim: To empower society through citizen engagement and better governance.
Our Projects
We deliver specifically designed programs on our four programmatic pillars (migration, climate, business and technology) that will test ideas generated by experts to form programs and policy proposals. These ideas are refined and stress-tested by citizens' assemblies, leading to concrete reform through grassroots partnerships and leader development.

How We Do it
By identifying the critical issues affecting democracy at its most practical levels, we bring together original thinkers and powerful decision makers to debate and develop societal solutions. We work to turn these solutions into specific policy proposals, then develop strategies towards their implementation.
